• Do not use when the following medical problems exist: appendicitis, intestinal blockage, difficulty swallowing, ulcerative colitis, ileitis, heart disease, rectal bleeding, high blood pressure or kidney disease.
• Do not use in the presence of abdominal pain, nausea, fever or vomiting.

Keep out of reach of children. Overuse or extended use may cause dependence for bowel function.
Do not take within 2 hours of another medicine because the desired effect of the other medicine may be reduced. Do not take for more than 1 week (unless directed by a physician).
Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking thiazide diuretics, corticosteroids, licorice root or other medications or health products which may aggravate electrolyte imbalance. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have a kidney disorder, or are taking cardiac medications (e.g. cardiac glycosides or antiarrhythmic medications).
Do not use if pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use if you have abnormal constriction of the gastrointestinal tract, potential or existing intestinal blockage, appendicitis, atonic bowel, inflammatory colon disease (e.g. Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis), abdominal pain of unknown origin, nausea, fever, vomiting, undiagnosed rectal bleeding, biliary tract obstruction, biliary disorders, severe dehydration with depleted water or electrolytes, hemorrhoids or diarrhea..
